Developing Leadership and Governance for General Education Schools in the Light of The National Standards of Evaluation and Accreditation. A Case Study Minia Governorate

This research aimed at answering the following questions:
1-    What are the features of the management of general education schools in Egypt?
2-    What is the reality of leadership and Governance of the general education schools in Minia Governorate in the light of the national standards of evaluation and accreditation?
3-    What are the mechanisms for the development of leadership and Governance in the general education schools in Minia Governorate in the light of national standards of evaluation and accreditation?
To Answer these questions the present research used the case study as a technique of the descriptive methodology since it is the most Adequate for the Subject of the research. To achieve the aims of the present research. the research designed a questionnaire as an Instrument for the research. It consists of (73) practices distributed on four standards( having 15 Indictors each) The a questionnaire was applied to a sample of 326 teachers in the educational qualification program in Minia governorate. Percentages have been used in order to analyze the responses of the teachers.
The research consists of three main parts:
A) Introduction, and literature review.
B) Clarifying the features of management of the of general education schools in Egypt; and
C) The field study was analyzed and suggestions. 
Finally, the research submitted some useful and practical mechanisms of developing the leadership and governance of the general education schools in Minia governorate in the light of national standards of Evaluation and Accreditation.
