The Effectiveness of Allosteric learning model in developing historical analysis skills and self- Efficiency of Secondary Stage students

Abstract

     The research aimed at investigate the effectiveness of Allosteric learning model on developing of historical analysis Skills and self-efficacySecondary Stage students.The research sample consisted of (30) students. The students were experimental and control .The Instruments of research included (ahistorical analysis Skills Test - a self-sufficiency scale) the researcher taught the whole unit according to Allosteric learning model to the research sample. The Findings of the research revealed that there were significant statistically differences between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups in the pre and test of historical analysis Skills and self-sufficiency scale in favor of the experimental group in posttest. This research recommended that post-constructivist models should be part of teaching history and train students and teachers to use them effectively using the Allosteric learning model in teaching history to students in different stages to help student learn in an active way.
