The study aimed to know the role of Jouf University in enhancing the values of national unity among students from the point of view of faculty members. The analytical descriptive methodology was utilized in this study and questionnaires as an instrument to collect data. The random sample was 120 faculty members from Jouf University.
Finding revealed that the role of Jouf University in enhancing the values of national unity among students was high, while the role of faculty members was moderate. Also, the results showed that there were statistically significant differences between individuals of sample according to the study variables – major and academic level – in favor of humanity majors and full professors, while there were no statistically significant differences according to the gender.
The recommendations emphasized the necessity of promoting the values of national unity by faculty members. Faculty members should do more effort to enhance among students especially students of scientific fields by enriching activities and courses with national issues and concepts. In addition, the university should provide the requirement needed and the financial and moral support to faculty members in order to assist them to do their role perfectly.
