The present study aimed to uncover the correlation between the dimensions of the meta- mood and the dimensions of social intelligence, and the detection of differences in the dimensions of the meta- mood and the dimensions of social intelligence among faculty staff members in terms of gender (male - female), and specialization (scientific colleges - theoretical colleges). The study consisted of (215) male and female members, of whom (133) males and( 82 )females were selected from scientific colleges and theoretical colleges at Aswan University. The current study tools consisted of the post mode scale and the social intelligence scale . The results indicated that there are correlations between the dimensions of the mood and the dimensions of social intelligence, and there is a difference between the members of the faculty in terms of (scientific colleges - theoretical colleges) in the dimensions of mood and the extension of social intelligence in favor of the scientific colleges, and the differences between faculty members (males - Females) in the dimensions of social intelligence in favor of males, while there are no differences between the faculty members (male - female) in the dimensions of the mood.
