Abstract

The study aimed at providing a future vision for developing quality assurance and accreditation policies for pre-university education institutions in Egypt in the light of International Best Practices, To achieve this; The study used the "foresight future" approach, and used the Delphi policy method; as it is one of the methods used in forecasting the future and formulating policies and alternatives, and it was applied to a sample of experts closely related to the field of quality assurance and accreditation of pre-university education institutions, in the administrative, technical or research aspects. The study concluded with providing future perspectives and trends for developing quality assurance and accreditation policies for pre-university education institutions in Egypt, in the following dimensions: (policies for accreditation of external auditors, inclusion of participation in international evaluations in accreditation policies for pre-university education institutions, policies for integration between school and professional accreditation, and policies for value added assessment in in pre-university education institutions, policies of linking the incentives for accredited schools to their performance results, policies for the follow-up and continuity of school accreditation, and the community accountability policies for the system of accreditation of pre-university education institutions).
