Engagement in learning in light of the different gender, type of disability & age stage among with special needs

Abstract

The research aims to detect the impact of gender and type of disability and age stage on engagement in learning tasks with sample consisted of (70) males and females with special needs (mentally handicapped - hearing impaired - visually impaired - with learning disabilities). The research tools consisted of scale engagement in learning. The research concluded:
1-      There are no statistically significant differences in engagement in learning tasks due to the gender variable (male, female).
2-      There are statistically significant differences in the engagement in learning tasks due to the type of disability variable in favor of the hearing impaired.
3-      There are statistically significant differences in the engagement in learning tasks due to the variable of the age stage in favor of the group from (12-15) years.
