The current study aimed to determine the effectiveness of Zahorek's constructivist model in correcting mistakes for some concepts in science and developing imaginative thinking skills and scientific sense among second year preparatory students. A student-teacher's guide booklet was prepared to study the science course content for the "Reproduction and Gender Continuity" unit. The researcher also prepared tools to measure their impact on the achievement of some science concepts, imaginative thinking skills and scientific sense. One of the most important results of the study was the presence of statistically significant differences between the average scores of the experimental group and the group. Controllers in the post-application scores to test false perceptions and test imaginative thinking and scientific sense in favor of the experimental group, and these results were interpreted to the importance of using Zahorek's constructivist model. Recommendations emanating from the study, as well as several suggestions for some future directions.
