The Current study is an attempt to have a prospective vision for developing the educational system in Egypt in the light of the 4th industrial revolution focusing primarily on the artificial intelligence dimension. The descriptive approach has been used to achieve this objective.
The study is based on the conceptual and theoretical framework with a special emphasis on the concept of the 4th industrial revolution with regard to its fundamental components, its positive and negative results. The study has also tackled the concept of artificial intelligence focusing on its philosophy, and its applications in the educational system in the light of the experience of some countries in this respect. The study has reached a prospective vision to develop the system of education with regard to its connection with the society at large in the light of the 4th industrial revolution. Futuristic goals of education, artificial intelligence connection with education, teaching styles, skills required of both the teacher and the student are taken care of in the study coping with the requirements of the 4th industrial revolution.
