Abstract:
      The research aimed to uncover the attitudes of faculty members at Al-Azhar University, Assiut Branch, towards the two methods of evaluating colleagues and students for their teaching performance, the obstacles to applying these two methods, and the extent of different trends and obstacles according to the research variables (gender, specialization, job degree). The researcher used the descriptive approach, and used a questionnaire that was applied electronically to a sample of faculty members at Al-Azhar University, Assiut branch, with a strength of (144) members, in the second semester of the academic year 2020/2021 AD. The research found that the faculty members ’attitudes towards classmates’ evaluation of their teaching performance were high, while it was moderate on the students ’evaluation method and on the problems of applying the two methods. There are no statistically significant differences in the trends and obstacles according to the three research variables.
