Abstract

The study aimed to identify the degree of Self-Focused Attention and its relation to the academic achievement motivation among the Faculty of Education students in Bisha province. the study followed the descriptive method in its correlative form. Then the validity and stability of two measure were verified: Self-Focused Attention (Prepared by: Ahmed and Abd al-Muttalib, 2012), and academic achievement motivation scale (Prepared by: Khawla Al-Riggs, 2010). The study concluded that the self-centered degree of attention was (medium), with an arithmetic average of the total score of (3.30), and the results showed that the degree (0.05 0.05) between the self-centered attention and the motivation of academic achievement among the students of the Faculty of Education in the province of Bisha, There were also differences in attention Self-centered attributed to the specialization for the benefit of students of literary specialization, while not found in the motivation of academic achievement due to the variable specialization, According to these results, a number of recommendations were presented, the most prominent of which were: To promote the academic achievement of university students by rewarding the students who are applying for study, as well as activate the counseling services within the college.
