Amagine aproposal for transforming Aswan University into a smart university in the light of the developments of the Fourth Industrial Revolution

Abstract

The study aimed to present a proposed vision for transforming Aswan University into a smart university in the light of the developments of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. It is made up of four axes: smart management, smart people, smart buildings, and a smart learning environment that, in its entirety, measures the availability of the requirements for transformation into a smart university at Aswan University in light of the developments of the fourth industrial revolution  recommendations, including:   1. The necessity of introducing new study programs that keep pace with the requirements of the labor market created by the Fourth Industrial Revolution, such as nanotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence.2. The necessity of providing smart services in the educational environment such as wired and wireless networks, sensors, artificial intelligence techniques, and the Internet of things.3. Digitizing educational curricula and transforming traditional curricula into smart curricula that are easily accessible through smart phones and virtual classrooms.
