The Role of University in Confronting the Attempts of News Agencies to Falsify Arab Political Awareness

Abstract

   The current research aimed at trying to identify the role of the university in confronting the attempts of some international news agencies to falsify Arab political awareness, because in many cases some international news agencies are not characterized by independence and impartiality in their handling of some political events, especially in our Arab region, by virtue of the elements of funding and the political direct role. To clarify this, the researcher presented the concept, types, and history of some international news agencies, then presented the conceptual framework of political awareness, and then identified the methodological methods that some international news agencies follow in falsifying political awareness, and then identifying the roles of some international news agencies in falsifying Arab political awareness by listing a group of propaganda positions in some Arab countries. The researcher used the philosophical analysis method to study, interpret and analyze the role of some of these agencies in falsifying Arab political awareness. Finally, the researcher presented a set of proposals that could contribute to activating the role of universities to confront the falsification of Arab political awareness carried out by some international news agencies.
