A proposed vision for the development of digital culture among secondary education teachers in light of the repercussions of the fourth industrial revolution

Abstract

      The aim of the research is to identify the concept of digital culture and its objectives in the secondary education stage, and the objectives related to the fourth industrial revolution, and to reveal the reality of digital culture among secondary education teachers in the light of the fourth industrial revolution, to reach a proposed vision for spreading digital culture among secondary education teachers in light of the repercussions of the light of the revolution. The fourth industrial, and the research used the (descriptive) method, and the research relied on a questionnaire that was applied to a sample of secondary education teachers in the governorates of (Alexandria - Cairo - Sohag - Aswan), and the number of sample members was (1120) from the original community.
The results of the search are as follows :

The vast majority of teachers do not have sufficient knowledge and information about the culture of digital education, and its importance in the educational process
Weakness in enabling the teacher to design and create a class-specific blog, since it requires abilities and skills.
The vast majority of teachers adhere to the ethics of using technological innovations
The teacher is always keen to provide good and useful information and data, which means that teachers have a high level of ethics in dealing with modern technologies
Among the obstacles that limit the empowerment of information culture among secondary school teachers are: (the scarcity of sufficient time for teachers to compress school work hours - Weak financial resources available for training at the level of education departments. - Not allocating appropriate time periods for training teachers on digital education and its requirements.
