The Effectiveness of a Training Program Based on Successful Intelligence Theory in developing Constructive Thinking and Academic Well-Being among students of the College of Education

Abstract

   The current research aimed to verify the effectiveness of a training program based on the theory of successful intelligence in developing both constructive thinking and academic well-being among students of the College of Education, in addition to revealing the nature of the correlation between constructive thinking and academic well-being among students of the experimental group after applying the training program, and a sample was formed The basic research consisted of (62) male and female students from the second year at the Faculty of Education - Helwan University in the first semester of the academic year 2022/2023, divided into two groups, experimental and it consisted of (32) students from the Arabic Chemistry Department(9 males, 23 females), with mean age of (19.59 years). and a standard deviation (0.4066), while the control group consisted of (30) male and female students from the Arabic Physics Department (12 males, 18 females) with mean age of (19.66 years) and a standard deviation (0.6243). The results of the study found that there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the students of the experimental and control groups on the scales of constructivist thinking and academic well-being after applying the training program in favor of the experimental group, It also found a statistically significant correlation between constructive thinking and academic well-being after applying the training program.
