Teaching social studies using the theory of successful intelligence to develop the skills of deep understanding and political awareness of middle school students

Abstract

 The aim of the current research is to investigate the effectiveness of teaching social studies using the theory of successful intelligence to develop deep understanding skills and political awareness among middle school students. The other is a control group and consisted of (32) students who were selected from one of the schools affiliated with the Aswan Educational Administration. The descriptive approach and the experimental approach were used. The problem of the current research was identified in the weakness of deep understanding skills and the dimensions of political awareness among the third preparatory grade students. There is a statistically significant difference at the level (0.01) between the mean scores of the students of the experimental group and the control group in the post application of the test of deep understanding skills, and the scale of political awareness in favor of the students of the experimental group. and the dimensions of political awareness. The researcher recommended the necessity of using the theory of successful intelligence in teaching social studies, and paying attention to developing the skills of a thousand They are deep concerns and dimensions of political awareness among learners of different educational stages.
