Role of E-volunteering in Improving Self-Regulation Skills among the Students of Majmaah University from the Faculty Perspective

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the obstacles of achieving the role of e-volunteering in improving self-regulation skills among female students at Majmaah University from the perspective of faculty members. It also suggested a set of mechanisms to activate this role. The author adopted the descriptive method through the questionnaire of the role of e-volunteering in improving self-regulation skills to a sample of faculty members. The results showed that e-volunteering plays a significant role in improving self-regulation skills among female students at Majmaah University. Furthermore, the participants demonstrated a high degree of agreement on the obstacles and suggested mechanisms to activate the role of e-volunteering in improving self-regulation skills among female students at Majmaah University. The study recommended organizing extensive symposia, workshops, and lectures by volunteering organizations and higher education institutions for university students to highlight the role, value, and positive outcomes of e-volunteering for both volunteers and society in Saudi Arabia.
