Towards an ethical charter to use artificial intelligence in educational research

Abstract

The current research aims to build an ethical charter for the use of artificial intelligence in educational research, by identifying the concept of artificial intelligence, its characteristics, importance, features and ethics of its use in educational research, leading to proposed dimensions of the ethical charter for the use of artificial intelligence in educational research, based on justifications stemming from the field of educational research itself, and from the specificity of the cultural reality of Arab and Islamic societies, with the need for the humanities and social sciences in their pursuit of technological developments, to be linked to the ideology of Arab society, in  An attempt to maximize the benefit of the positives and potential of artificial intelligence, and direct it to serve researchers and community issues.The current research relies on the descriptive analytical approach, to suit the nature of the research.  The results showed that the most important dimensions of the ethical charter are: Considerate the privacy of researchers and examiners, the availability of reliability and safety in the use of artificial intelligence tools in educational research, Institutionalizing the use of artificial intelligence, and investing in artificial intelligence applications in supporting communication between research institutions and society.
