Internet of Things applications and the possibility of benefiting from them in the professional development of Al-Azhar pre-university education teachers
The study aimed to identify the reality, obstacles, and the possibility of benefiting from Internet of Things applications in the professional development of Al-Azhar pre-university education teachers, and it used the descriptive survey method and the interview as a tool for it, and the study sample consisted of (45) teachers. The study found a lack of benefit from Internet of Things applications and the use of digital technology tools in the professional development of pre-university Al-Azhar teachers. One of the most important obstacles is the teachers' lack of motivation to attend training programs or benefit from their content, and the distance of the training courses venues from the teachers' place of residence. The study also showed the importance of using some Internet of Things applications in the professional development of teachers to develop their skills and improve their conditions within the learning environment and increase their knowledge related to the features and technologies of the Internet of Things and activate them in the educational process, and develop their capabilities and self-efficacy for them, to deal with contemporary changes and carry out their renewable tools. It can be used for this purpose: smart learning, virtual smart classrooms, understanding augmented reality, special education for teachers with disabilities, distance learning, and e-training. And the use of artificial intelligence and the Internet of things in the design of professional development programs for teachers, and the study presented some recommendations
