Abstract

     The study aimed to identify the desire to learn and the attitudes of the students of the Faculty of Specific Education at Aswan University towards the different evaluation Styles as predictors of their academic engagement, The sample consisted of (600) male and female students from the second year at the Faculty of Specific Education - Aswan University, (150 exploratory samples, 450 basic samples), The study included three tools, which are measures: (desire to learn, attitudes towards different evaluation Styles, and academic engagement) (prepared by the researcher). They have towards different evaluation Styles, and there were statistically significant positive correlations at the level (0.01) between each of: the desire to learn, attitudes towards different evaluation Styles, and academic engagement among the study sample, and that academic engagement can be predicted by knowing their scores in each of: the desire to Learning and attitudes towards different evaluation Styles.
