Research Title: The Interaction between the Types of Crowdsourcing (Free ­ Guided) and the level of Social Presence (High - Low) in the E-Learning Environment and its impact on Developing Digital knowledge Management Skills and Academic Hardiness of Education Technology Diploma Students.

Abstract

The objective of this Research is to develop the skills of Digital knowledge Management and Academic Hardiness on the Learning Technology diploma students. To accomplish that goal, the Researcher used the developmental research method by applying Khamis Model (2015) to design the Adaptive and Adaptable Training Environment, the factorial design of variation (2x2) to studying the interaction effect between variables. A Research sample was formed of (80) post-graduate students of the professional diploma students, specializing in E-learning at the Faculty of Education, Sohag University. They were divided into four experimental groups according to the Quasi-Experimental design of the research. The Research tools were: Karl et al.'s Social Presence Scale, The Cognitive achievement Test of Digital Knowledge Management Skills, The observation score card of Digital Knowledge Management Skills, and The Academic Hardiness Scale. The results of the research revealed that there is an interaction between the Crowdsourcing type and the level of Social Presence in cognitive achievement and the practical performance of Digital Knowledge Management Skills. Where it came in favor of the fourth group (Guided Crowd with Low Social Presence), and the first group (Free Crowd with a High Social Presence). The results of the research also revealed that there is no interaction between the Crowdsourcing type and the level of social presence in Academic Hardiness. The research recommended the need to pay attention to the development of Digital Knowledge Management Skills and to pay attention to the design of Guided Crowdsourcing in E-learning Environments.
