Abstract

This study aims to examine the availability of technological readiness to employ ICTs in the educational process in the Egyptian general secondary education schools, in light of the development of the new secondary education system.
Problem of the study:
The problem is summarized as follows:
1-     Egypt achieved an international ranking in the technological readiness index for 2016/ 2017
2-     The educational system in Egypt suffers from the existence of the "digital divide",.
Methodology:  This study will follow descriptive 
The study found the following results

 There is a weakness among students in the skills of benefiting from the knowledge bank
There is a weakness of teachers in the skills of benefiting from the knowledge bank
The need to create maintenance teams for computers and tablet computers in schools and training and adequate training
Lack of interactive learning environment within the classroom
