A Program Based on Love Theory to Develop Positive Worldviews and ‎Existential Values for Students of the Department of Psychology at the ‎Faculty of Education - Alexandria University

Abstract

The aim of the current research is to identify the effectiveness of a program based on the theory  of love in the development of positive world views and existential values for the students of the fourth level of the psychology department at faculty of education- alexandria university and to achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher presented a theoretical framing of the research variables, and relied on it in preparing the proposed program based on love theory, as well as the positive worldviews test, and the existential values test. The researchers relied in answering the research questions and verifying the correctness of its hypotheses  on the quasi-experimental design "the extension of the one-group design with the pre- posttest" The program was applied to a sample of (60) students  the fourth-level, psychology department at the faculty of education, alexandria university . The results of  the research revealed that there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the the pre- and post-test in favor of posttest Which indicates the impact of the program based on Love Theory on the development of positive worldviews and existential values.
