Abstract

The research aimed to present a suggested proposal of social responsibility as a curriculum for the secondary stage. To achieve this, the topics of social responsibility that should be developed among secondary school students in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were identified. The research used the descriptive analytical method, and presented a suggested proposal of social responsibility as a course for the secondary stage, including the foundations, objectives, content, teaching methods, educational methods and activities, and assessment methods. The research ended by presenting a set of recommendations, the most important of which are preparing programs to implement social responsibility and including it in the national transformation programs as one of the executive programs of Vision 2030. It also presented a number of proposals, the most important of which are including social responsibility as an objective in every secondary school curriculum, providing training programs for teachers about the ways and means of activating social responsibility.
