Abstract

This study aimed to explore The effectiveness of a training program based on metacognitive thinking in developing self-regulated learning skills and academic self-efficacy among students in colleges of education, Al-Azhar University, Search tools are defined in the two scales of self-regulated learning skills& academic self-efficacy, The research tools were applied to a sample of third-year students at the Faculty of Education, Al-Azhar University in Assiut. The results of the experiment showed that there was a statistically significant difference at the significance level (α≤0.05) between the Average scores of the experimental group in the pre and post measurements in favor of the post measurement in both the self-regulated learning skills scale and the academic self-efficacy scale. Based on the results of the research, the researcher recommended for the necessity include a training program based on metacognitive thinking in the pre-service teacher preparation program, as the researcher suggested, and to carry out research aimed at determining the direction of the impact of artificial intelligence on self-regulated learning skills and academic self-efficacy,the researcher suggested Implementation of research aimed at Determine the direction of the impact of artificial intelligence on self-regulated learning skills and academic self-efficacy.
