Future vision for the development of mental health specialization in Egyptian universities in light of Egypt's Vision 2030

Abstract

The current study aims to provide a vision for the development of mental health specialization in Egyptian universities in the light of Egypt's Vision 2030 through three phases: the first: a description of the realities of mental health specialization, a review of strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats faced by it .The second phase dealt with the formulation of the future vision in mental health specialization through several elements: I: Defining the vision, mission and values governing the promotion of mental health specialization, II: Proposed Future Vision for the Development of Mental Health Specialty: First: Development of education and learning in the field of mental health. The second axis dealt with the development of scientific research in the field of mental health. The third is the development of the community service offered by the specialization of mental health. Third: Formulation of strategic and sub-objectives for the specialization of mental health. In the third phase, the strategic plan for the development of the specialization of mental health was prepared. The requirements for the implementation of the proposed vision for the development of the specialization and the mechanisms for the follow-up of the implementation of the proposed vision .
