Abstract

      The aim of the research is to explore the current state of education privatization at the Islamic University of Madinah and propose suggestions for its development from the perspective of faculty members at the Islamic University of Madinah. The research adopted the descriptive-analytical method, and the sample consisted of 300 faculty members from the university, with a questionnaire used as a research tool. The research reached the following results: the overall average for the dimension of the current state of privatization at the Islamic University was (3.21), which was rated as moderate. The overall average for the dimension of challenges facing privatization in education at the Islamic University was high with an average of (3.88), and the overall average for the dimension of proposals for the development and improvement of education privatization at the Islamic University of Madinah was also high, with a mean score of (3.97). There were no statistically significant differences at the significance level of (0.05) between the means of the respondents' answers regarding the identification of (current state, challenges, and development proposals) in higher education privatization based on the variable of years of experience. The research recommended enhancing privatization in higher education in line with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
