Proposed Program in Family Education Based on the Cognitive Apprenticeship Model and Its Impact on Developing Strategic Thinking Skills and Psychological Flourishing among Students of the Faculty of Education, Sohag University

Abstract

            This research aims to identify the impact of a proposed program in family education based on the cognitive apprenticeship model on developing strategic thinking skills and psychological flourishing among students of the Faculty of Education at Sohag University. The research  sample consisted of 30 students who were taught the family education program based on cognitive apprenticeship. The research tools included a strategic thinking skills scale and a psychological flourishing scale. The research results indicated significant statistical differences between the pre-test and post-test measurements in the strategic thinking skills scale at a significance level of 0.001 in favor of the post-test, with an effect size of 0.98. Additionally, significant statistical differences were found between the pre-test and post-test measurements in the psychological flourishing scale at a significance level of 0.001 in favor of the post-test, with an effect size of 0.99.
