Abstract

The current study aimed to try to reach the most important proposals for the possibility of applying the sustainable smart city for the mobility of the blind in the light of Egypt 2030 vision from the viewpoint of the visually impaired university students. It was conducted on a sample of (12) visually impaired university students enrolled in the academic year 2021/2022. The second semester, in the first-second-third year from Cairo University, Ain Shams University, Helwan University, including a group of (7) male students and a group of females (from the Faculty of Arts, Cairo University) (5), and the average age of the sample (21.3333 ) and a standard deviation (1.07309), the interview was used as a tool for data collection, and the study concluded that to implement the smart sustainable city for the mobility of the blind, it must include the following: The electronic stick, and applications and programs that speak the means of transportation, came in the first place among the components of the smart sustainable city, each with a percentage of 28.125%, followed by the availability of a self-driving car at 12.5%, then the need for smart glasses with a percentage of 9.375%, followed by the transfer of modern technologies and the means used in preparing Roads for the blind around the world to Egypt, and places designated for the blind in the means of transportation, each with a rate of 6.25%, and finally, applications related to traffic lights, smart belts, smart shoes, each with a rate of 3.125%.
