Abstract

illuminate the role of physical activities in enhancing social interaction among preschool children in the context of the New Education System 2.0. The study utilized a descriptive methodology due to its suitability for the research nature and employed a questionnaire as a tool to assess this role. The sample comprised 200 preschool teachers from schools affiliated with the Ministry of Education in Qena Governorate. Findings indicate several requirements to activate the role of physical activities in fostering social interaction among preschool children. These requirements include raising teachers' awareness of implementing physical activities in preschools، increasing financial support for these activities، developing children's skills in participating in physical activities، providing appropriate spaces for such activities، integrating physical activities into the curriculum، ensuring a suitable environment with modern technological tools for conducting these activities، and allowing child-focused institutions and parents to participate in their implementation. Additionally، organizing workshops for preschool teachers to apply physical activities in preschools is recommended.
