Abstract

The aim of the study was to investigate the factors affecting the intention of the students of King Khalid University towards the use of the wattage app as one of these means in supporting the educational process in Saudi Arabia. The study focused on the following factors: expected performance, expected effort and social impact on the behavioral intention to use University of King Khalid University students using UTAUT. The study sample was 721 students at King Khalid University. The results of the study indicated that expected performance, expected effort, and social impact were all statistically significant indicators of students' behavioral intent to use the Watsapp application in the learning process. The results also indicated that the greatest factor influencing the behavioral intention of using wattage is the expected effort, followed by expected performance and social impact.
