The degree to which leaders in Jordanian universities in the North practice intelligent leadership from the viewpoint of faculty member

Abstract

The current research aims to know the degree of leadership practice in Jordanian universities in the north of smart leadership from the point of view of faculty members, where the descriptive approach was used, and the sample consisted of (200) faculty members in Jordanian universities in the north, and the results showed that the degree of leadership practice in Jordanian universities in the north of smart leadership from the point of view of faculty members was high, as the dimension of strategic vision came in first place with the highest arithmetic mean and ability (3.97) and a high degree of appreciation, while the dimension of effective communication came in last place with the lowest arithmetic mean and ability (3.65) and a medium degree of appreciation, and it was found that there were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (α = 0.05) in the degree of leadership practice in Jordanian universities in the north of smart leadership attributed to the effect of variables (university type, number of years of experience, college type), and The most important recommendations are to provide specialized training programs aimed at developing smart leadership skills among university leaders, which contributes to maintaining their high performance and thus enhancing the effectiveness of academic institutions.
