Abstract
This study aimed to explore parents' perceptions of the impact of digital educational games on enhancing their children's motivation to learn mathematics at the middle school level in the Al-Baha region of Saudi Arabia. To achieve this objective, the researchers employed a descriptive-analytical approach and designed a questionnaire for data collection from a random sample of 62 parents. The findings indicated that parents held positive perceptions of the use of digital educational games for their children, believing these games enhance students' motivation to learn mathematics by aiding comprehension, increasing enjoyment, and fostering skills such as creative thinking and problem-solving. Furthermore, the study revealed no statistically significant differences in parents' perceptions based on their age, educational level, or technological experience. The study recommended developing the mathematics curriculum by incorporating digital educational games to boost students' motivation, designing appropriate digital games for all students, including those with special needs, and intensifying efforts to train and raise parents' awareness about the benefits of digital educational games in supporting their children's learning of mathematics.
