The reality and obstacles of the Role of parents of high-School Female Students in Achieving Family Security in Light of Islamic Education Sources

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the reality of the role of parents of female high-school students in achieving family security in light of Islamic education sources. It was limited to the main Islamic education sources. It also aimed to identify the obstacles that limit the role of parents of female high-school students in achieving family security in light of Islamic education sources from the students' point of view.
The study relied on the descriptive method, and the study community included all high-school female students in government schools in Abha city during the second semester of the academic year 1445 AH (2024 AD). The study used the questionnaire as a study tool, and the questionnaire included (49) phrases, distributed over (four) axes. The number of questionnaires answered was (370) questionnaires representing the current study sample.
The study concluded a number of results, the most important of which are: The reality of the role of parents of high-school female students in achieving family security in its dimensions (psychological security, intellectual security, and economic security) was very high from the point of view of the study sample members; The total weighted average of the reality of the role of parents of female high-school students was (4.61), and the obstacles that limit the role of parents of female high-school students in achieving family security in light of the sources of Islamic education from the students' point of view were at a medium level, as the value of the general weighted average of the obstacles axis was (2.76).
