Abstract

This study aimed to uncover the foundations of human solidarity in building Islamic society and to reveal the manifestations of solidarity in Islamic society. This study followed a descriptive approach. One of its most prominent findings was that human solidarity in Islam is a comprehensive concept based on legal and moral foundations that promote solidarity and social justice. It is not limited to the material aspect, but rather includes psychological and moral support. Its manifestations are evident in social, economic, political and international solidarity, and are reinforced by multiple mechanisms such as financial donations and contributions. In light of contemporary challenges, activating these mechanisms becomes necessary to confront social, economic and humanitarian problems. The study recommended that strengthening the values of human solidarity in Islam be achieved by integrating them into curricula, extracurricular activities, the media and religious institutions, while supporting charitable and voluntary institutions to provide assistance and achieve community solidarity, cooperating with international organizations in providing assistance, and conducting studies to enhance solidarity practices in line with contemporary challenges.
