Abstract

This study examines the development of Social Studies curricula in light of artificial intelligence (AI) and modern technology. It aims to explore the opportunities provided by technology for enhancing education, identify the challenges hindering its integration into curricula, and propose a comprehensive developmental vision. The study employs a descriptive-analytical approach, relying on curriculum content analysis, questionnaires, interviews, and official documents to collect data. The results reveal significant opportunities to enhance personalized learning, student engagement, and digital citizenship skills, alongside challenges including the digital divide, insufficient teacher training, and limited resources. Based on these findings, the study provides a set of practical recommendations for curriculum development, including updating content, integrating technology, training teachers, and ensuring ethical and value-based education.
