Values of academic and professional integrity for Faculty members in Saudi universities

Abstract

This study aimed To investigate the extent to which faculty members in Saudi universities (King Khalid, Hail, Taibah, Qassim and Umm Al Qura) Exercise the values of academic and professional integrity, and to develop proposals to activate the degree of this practice. To achieve this, the descriptive approach was used to collect data related to the objectives and questions of the study. The questionnaire has three axes that focus on individual values ​​of integrity, a special focus on the social values ​​of integrity, and a special focus on the organizational and administrative values ​​of integrity. The questionnaire was applied to 302 faculty members in Saudi universities, The results of the questionnaire data analysis that there is a difference in the degree of academic and professional integrity values ​​depending on the university and the type variable scientific class, the study showed the need to activate the moral frameworks and focus on the integrity and transparency in the educational process values, and dissemination of income university circles.
