Abstract

The aim of the current research is to determine the effectiveness of multi-intelligence-based teaching strategies in developing mathematical thinking among students of the Community College in Al-Khubt. The study used a semi-experimental approach. The sample consisted of 90 students: 45 students represent the experimental group and 45 of them represent the control group. The research instruments used in this study were a guide to the teacher, which included clarifying the teaching strategies, training the teachers on how to use such teaching strategies based on multiple intelligences and testing the skills of mathematical thinking. The study used a quantitative data analysis of the data through SPSS, specifically descriptive statistics such as the means and the standard deviations as well as inferential statistics, including the T-test to determine the significance in the statistical differences between the study groups. The results of the study revealed that there are no statistically significant differences between the performance of the experimental and control groups in the test of post-mathematical thinking. Based on these findings, the study concluded with a number of recommendations and suggestions for future research.
