The predictive value of emotional intelligence in psychological well-being of the girls in the care institutions in Mecca

Abstract

       The aim of the research was to identify the nature of the relationship between psychological well-being and emotional intelligence among the girls in the Macca Al-Mukarrama care institutions. The sample consisted of (200) girls. The psychological well-being scale and the emotional intelligence scale, which were constructed by the researcher for the study purposes, To answer the study questions The descriptive approach was used (Correlation coefficients, T test, and factor analysis), The results showed that the sample members enjoyed a high degree of emotional intelligence. However, there were no differences in the dimensions of mental well-being among the sample. The results confirmed a relationship between psychological well-being and emotional intelligence.
