The current study aimed to investigate the educational needs of the rural woman in Disia village (one of the villages of fayoum). The method used in the study is the root theory (one of the qualitative research methods). Results of the study showed that the rural woman in Disia village has some educational needs such as learning literacy skills, attending symposiums and workshops held by culture palaces and owners of crafts workshops. These workshops will raise the rural women’s awareness of these crafts and how to learn them. They also need healthcare awareness and knowledge of home economics.
