Abstract

      The aim of the  Research is to Identify the characteristics of the digital age, and the reasons for brotherhood in the field of profession development for teachers, and the development factory for teachers in the shadow of the era under the age of development schools index on a sample of teachers in development schools in Laith province during the first semester of the academic year 1441.
     The research used a descriptive approach, and the research used a questionnaire to determine the reality of the challenges of professional development of teachers in the digital age development schools according to a sample of teachers in development schools (secondary and primary) during the first semester of the academic year 1441
The research revealed that:

No source has received a very high degree in its contribution as a source of professional development, but the extent to which the sources contributed to the professional development of teachers ranged from very high to very low. While the highest mean was "Colleagues: direct communication with teachers within the school, where the mean of this statement was (3, 84), and the means of the statement" Private Institutions" offered or supervised or financed by banks, companies ..." was (1,64).
There are many that affect the meaningful development of teachers in the digital age of development schools, including: (a large number of job burdens, and the incompatibility of professional development activities with official working time, the proliferation of responsibilities and family duties, limited professional development activities available).
The absence of a statistically significant impact on the estimation of the research sample and the reality of the ways of the challenges of professional development of teachers in the digital age in development schools attributed to the variables of sex and academic qualification and years of experience

    The Research also recommended activating the role of teachers in seminars and scientific conferences concerning teachers, and The establishment of training programs based on the needs of teachers in the digital age, and the establishment of an independent administrative apparatus for the professional development of teachers that is responsible for formulating the general policy of e-training
