Abstract

Abstract:
    Objectives of the Study: The aim of the study was to determine the effectiveness of the new powers given to school leaders in general education schools in the city of Mecca in achieving administrative empowerment for them and To identify the theoretical bases for achieving the administrative empowerment of school leaders in the light of contemporary administrative and educational thought, and Knowing the effect of the newly granted powers on achieving more administrative empowerment for them, and Identify the obstacles that face the use of new powers granted to school leaders to achieve the administrative ability of their schools and ways to overcome them, he researcher used the descriptive method, and the researcher used (116) leaders of the schools of general education in the city of Makkah (27%).
The study reached a number of results, including:

The members of the study sample agreed with a medium degree that the new powers given to them by the Ministry of Education for the school leaders led to achieving the administrative empowerment of the school leaders, The average responses of the study sample on the terms of the first axis concerning the reflection of the powers given to the school leaders, was(2.13 out of 3.00),which is the average in the second category of the triple scale (from 1.68 to 2.34),which refers to a medium option on the study instrument.
The members of the sample of the study agreed in a medium degree to the statements about the obstacles that face the use of school authorities for the new powers granted to them in managing education in Mecca, with an average of 2.29 (3.00),which is the average in the second category of the triple scale (from 1.68 to 2.34),Which refers to a medium-level option for the study instrument.
