A Suggested proposal based on the Web 3.0 to develop cognitive skills in University study among students of Princess Noura Bint Abdulrahman' University

Abstract

The use of information technology has become an influential factor in the development of the educational process, and it  led to the imposition of new challenges for education , training systems and the search for technical methods to enrich the educational process. In the past two decades, web technologies at international universities have been widespread, due to the great successes achieved in the field of the combination of education technology and information technology. As well as the development of community culture in the use of the Internet, which is the ideal environment for the dissemination of web technologies. The present research aimed at providing a comprehensive overview of the third generation of the Web in terms of its origin, its beginning and its  development systems. Also , identify the cognitive skills based on Web 3.0 in the educational process and determine the mechanism of using the third generation of the Web in the development of cognitive skills for university' students. A questionnaire was applied to the faculty members of the Faculty of Education, Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University to identify the possibility of using the Web 3.0 in the development of cognitive skills of the student in the university study. Then designed a suggested conceptualization of the possibility of using Web applications  in teaching university courses was developed through the design of an electronic website containing the course of instructional techniques. Then Applicated  a measurement to determine the satisfaction of female students about the possibility of using web0.3 applications in teaching the course of teaching techniques. The research followed the descriptive analytical and experimental method. The research resulted in a satisfactory rate of using web 0.3 applications in university study. The research recommended , the need to use Web 3.0  applications in education and give professors and universities ' students many training about applications of web
