Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify Degree of the upper basic stage teachers' awareness of the principles of accelerating learning in the light of some variables. The sample consisted of (424) male and female teachers. To collect data, the researcher implemented a scale containing the seven principles of accelerating learning. Results showed that upper basic stage teachers have a high awareness that positive emotions do improve the learning process, and that cooperation increases and accelerates it. They also know that learning occurs through practice and application with feedback. On the other hand, it was found that male teachers are aware of the principles of accelerating learning compared to female teachers. There is no difference between male and female teachers due to specializations, experiences and qualifications in their awareness of the principles of accelerating learning. In the light of these results, some recommendations and suggestions were presented.
