Abstract:
The aim of the current research is mainly to identify the effectiveness of using a proposed electronic enrichment program in biology based on bioinformatics and its applications to develop awareness of the ethical issues of high school students. ) High school students were chosen randomly from the original study community, which is represented by all high school students who study in government secondary schools in Bisha during the second semester of the academic year 1439/1440 AH, b The reality of (10) students for each class applied to them the proposed electronic enrichment program in biology based on bioinformatics; research tools were applied, which are (the knowledge side achievement test and the emotional side measure of awareness of ethical issues) before and after the research group in order to identify the differences between the results of The pre and post applications, the results of the  (Wilcoxon Signed Rankstest) for grade signals for the associated grades between the pre and post applications of the students ’grades in each row have been independently proven. (T) was also calculated for the samples between the pre and post applications for the students’ grades in the grades. Three grouped; it was found that there was a statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.01) between the mean scores of the students of the research group, in the pre and post applications in favor of the post application of both the cognitive aspect achievement test and the emotional side measure of awareness of bio-ethical issues, and with a high impact size; the results also indicated a relationship Positive correlation statistically significant at level (0.01) between the total score for students of the research group in the post-application of the knowledge side achievement test and the emotional side measure of awareness of ethical bio issues associated with the fields of bioinformatics, and in light of those results the research recommended that Embedding the ethical issues associated with the fields of bioinformatics in the curricula of biology in all grades of the secondary stage; and holding training courses for teachers on how to teach bioinformatics in its various fields electronically to develop awareness of the ethical biocological issues associated with these fields, and the study provided a number of future research related to it, including preparing studies for the development of a preparation program Biology teachers in colleges of education in the light of applications and concepts of bioinformatics. Designing an electronic course in bioinformatics based on virtual classes and measuring its effectiveness in other variables such as Thinking and imaginative skills of decision-making about ethical issues Bioenergetics.
