Abstract

Research Objective: developing quick learning skills and spatial ability among primary fifth pupils using infographics during teaching social studies.
Research Procedures and Steps:

Preparing and submitting a list of quick learning skills to jury for finalization.
Preparing and submitting a list of the spatial ability dimensions to jury.
Renewing the unit teaching steps using infographics.
Examining the content of the unit’s topics in the light of infographics.
Preparing a teacher’s guide for teaching the unit.
Preparing and submitting to jury a scale of quick learning skills.
Building the spatial ability test for primary fifth pupils.
Pre-application of research tools.
Teaching the “Economic Activities in Egypt” Unit using the infographics strategy.
Post-application of the research tools and changing and discussing results.

Main Results:
-          Using infographics is effective in developing the quick learning skills and spatial ability among primary fifth pupils.
-          Using infographics helped to provide a proper educational environment, which contributed much to the pupils’ assimilation of graphs and shapes.
Main Recommendations:
-           Social studies curriculum should be developed in line with the infographics strategy.
-          Attention should be paid to the development of quick learning skills and spatial ability among primary fifth pupils during teaching social studies.
