The Degree of E-management Implementation at the University of Hafr Al-Batin and the Ways to develop it in Light of the Transition to a Paperless University

Abstract

This study aimed to disclose the degree of e-management implementation at the University of Hafr Al-Batin and ways to develop it in light of the transition to a paperless university, from the viewpoint of the holders of leadership positions in it, and to know if there were statistically significant differences at the (α = 0.05) level of significance in the estimates of the study sample individuals for the degree of e-management implementation at the University of Hafr Al-Batin due to the (gender, college headquarters, years of experience) variables.
To achieve the study goals, the descriptive, analytical research approach was used, since the researcher prepared a questionnaire consisting of (36) paragraphs, distributed in (4) areas: (electronic planning, electronic organization, electronic guidance and leadership, electronic evaluation and monitoring), in addition to an open-ended question at the end of it is related to the ways of developing the electronic management at the University of Hafr Al-Batin from the viewpoint of the holders of leadership positions in it. After confirming the validity and reliability of the tool, the questionnaire was distributed to a random sample consisting of (44) academic leaders, at a rate of (50.57%) from the study population of (87) leaders. After conducting the appropriate statistical analyses, the results of the study showed that the degree of e-management implementation at the University of Hafr Al-Batin from the viewpoint of the holders of leadership positions in it came with a (moderate) degree of estimation, where the electronic guidance and leadership ranked first, with a (moderate) degree of estimation, while the field of electronic planning ranked the last, with a (moderate) degree of estimation, and the results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences at the (α = 0.05) level of significance in the degree of e-management implementation at the University of Hafr Al-Batin in all areas due to the impact of the (gender, college headquarters, years of experience) variables.
