Abstract

This current study aimed to identify and compare the current services and facilities provided by Australian universities and Saudi universities to its international students. Then, it aimed also to determine how can Saudi universities benefit from the Australian universities experiences and implement it to its external scholarship students. In order to achieve these objectives, the descriptive comparative approach was used. The study concluded that the services and facilities provided to international students in Australian universities start before students' arrival to Australia and do not end with the end of the study, but extend to after the study, unlike the services and facilities provided to international students in Saudi universities which focus on students during their study and did not provide any services and facilities before and after study. The study showed a preference in the quality of services and facilities that Australian universities provide to international students while studying. In the light of the findings of this study, the current study provided some recommendations on how to benefit from the services provided to international students in Australian universities and to present them to external scholarship students in Saudi universities.
