A comparison science education curricula in Egypt and some countries with global competitive indicators in the light of the criteria of comparative analysis

Abstract

Summary of the research:
The aim of the research is to compare science education curricula in Egypt and some countries with global competitive indicators; Represented in: Finland, Canada, Australia, England, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, in the light of criteria (frameworks) for comparative analysis; In the current research, the comparative approach was followed with its descriptive and analytical approach, its tools were prepared represented in: (4) examination cards for science education curricula documents, and identification of aspects of benefit. The research concluded - in its results - that: The nature of science education curricula in Egypt and some countries with global competitive indicators was identified, and the similarities and differences between them were identified, as well as their pros and cons. In light of the criteria (frameworks) of comparison, which were represented in: the nature of the educational system in the comparison countries, the components of the curriculum, and the preparation and professional development of the science teacher, and then identified aspects of benefit from the experiences of countries with global competitive indicators in the development of science education curricula in Egypt; Arriving at a set of recommendations and proposed research.
