Abstract

Abstract
The study aimed to identify the degree of employing the elements of digital citizenship in distance education among educational supervisors in Jazan. The study used the descriptive analytical method, and the study sample consisted of (142) supervisors. A questionnaire consisting of (29) items was applied to them, distributed into 9 elements. The statistical program SPSS and the results of the study showed that the degree of employment of digital citizenship elements in distance education among educational supervisors in Jazan was high, with an average of (4.549 out of 5), and the first hypothesis came with an average of all paragraphs (4.549 out of 5). The results also showed that there are statistically significant differences between the averages of the study sample due to the variable of sex, and it was found that the average rank of the answers of the sample members (males) is greater than that of females, and showed that there is no statistical significance due to the variable of age and experience. The study recommended providing the community with digital citizenship skills and how to dealing with it, using it, avoiding its negatives, employing it in the right ways, qualifying the educational, educational and administrative leaders to optimally deal with the data of modern technology, and providing effective courses to raise the efficiency of the citizen in facing challenges and obstacles in order to enjoy digital security.
