"A perspective for developing the role of faculty of Education at Umm Al-Qura University in the field of voluntary work to achieve the KSA Vision of 2030"

Abstract

Aims: This study aimed to identify the goals and values of faculty of Education, and to clarify the philosophy of voluntary work in terms of: concept, objectives, importance, and its fields, and to identify the status of voluntary work in Islamic Sharia, as well as its place in the KSA vision of 2030, and its status in the Faculty of Education, to present a perspective to develop the faculty’s role in the field of voluntary work to achieve the KSA vision of 2030.
Method: The study depended on the descriptive method through describing the status of voluntary work at the Faculty of Education, and presenting a perspective for its development.
Results: Among the results are that the College of Education at Umm Al-Qura University plays an important role in instilling the culture and values ​​of volunteer work among young people through its activities and extra-curricular activities, but it is limited to only two of its various departments, and that there are shortcomings in the role of the College of Education at the University Umm Al-Qura in developing and activating volunteer work, and this will be addressed in the perspective.
